Sterling silver and resin jewelry
Katherine has hand tinted crystal clear epoxy resin with color and poured it into sterling silver earrings, pendants and bracelets. With these artisan jewelry pieces, the sterling silver is a reservoir for the colored resin. Each contemporary jewelry piece is handcrafted in a series of 18 steps from cutting and fabrication, soldering, casting and finishing.
Once the silver has been fabricated, the resin is mixed to include color and carefully placed in each piece. After several days to cure, the resin is sanded by hand by 8 different grits of sandpaper to achieve the final velvety smooth, matte finish. The resin jewelry is buffed with a microcrystalline museum quality wax to ensure the jewelry's long life, wearability and tarnish resistance.
Katherine's jewelry has a 15 day money back guarantee and a 1 year warranty on workmanship. Hear what some of Katherine's customers have to say about their jewelry and purchase experience.
