With these artisan jewelry pieces, the sterling pewter is a reservoir for the colored resin. Each contemporary jewelry piece starts as an original model, which is then reproduced by hand into pewter models.
Once the pewter settings have been fabricated, the resin is mixed to include color and carefully placed in each piece. After several days to cure, the resin is sanded by hand by 8 different grits of sandpaper to achieve the final velvety smooth, matte finish. The earrings are finished with sterling silver filled french ear wires, also made by hand in her studio.
